From Never Again
Welcome
Hello Maew1979, welcome to Never Again!
Never Again is a network of mainly young people based all around the world, with our roots in Rwanda and the vow of 'Never Again' made after the Holocaust. Our core aim is to provoke ideas and actions for a peaceful world in which genocide has no place except in memory.
Never Again is a decentralised, location based network of individuals working together, thematically, around the world. Never Again is also a community, a process and a dynamic, experimental method of international conflict prevention
This wiki site is the central hub of the Never Again network, both a source of information and a way of working together.
Anyone can edit a wiki. That's right, you can go around and contribute to pretty much anything you'd like with a click of the edit button at the tops of pages.
We are developing policies for editing, so see here for more information.
Here are a few places you might like to explore first of all:
- The Community Portal is the central noticeboard for members and a place to see what we're doing and get involved
- In Current events you can read about what Never Again members have been doing and add your own news
- The Recent Changes list will tell you what's been going on in the wiki since your last visit.
- And if you're at all stuck with anything to do with editing, you can always refer to the Help pages
So, when you've settled in, here are a few things we'd like you to do!
- Please provide your email on your user page.
- Check out the Organization and Membership page and add your name to the membership list.
- Tell everyone who you are by editing your user page - this is really important as we need to know who is doing what and where they are. Also, it's a good way to see how easy it is to contribute to the wiki.
- Help build our library!
Some tips:
- Leave messages for other users anytime by clicking on a user off this list - new users are added to this when they been contributing for a while. Nearly all pages have a discussion page too, so if you want to ask questions that don't fit on the page itself, feel free to use discussion pages.
- The easiest way to sign your name anywhere is by using four tildes like this: ~~~~
Again, welcome, and if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask me! ClareWhite 11:32, 6 May 2006 (CEST)
