Proposed structure
This committee would be a registered charity in its own right with trustees. Its role would be to maintain cooperation, coherence and empower action.
Thematic Chapters
Each place where there is a Never Again presence would have a themed chapter relavent to the context and type of work undertaken locally.
e.g. Never Again's Peace-building chapter has been set up in Kigali. It works throughout the Great Lakes Region and feeds in and out of Never Again's work globally.
These take two forms:
Chartered: Chapter has a constitution, formal structure and independence to raise funds. The Chapter will probably be a registered charity with its own trustees.
Network: the Chapter is run by its local members without a formalised structure. Fundraising activities must be reported to and held accountable by the international committee. Where this becomes large or complex, the Chapter would be expected to become chartered.
Both types of Chapter will be able to facilitate Clubs and all will be able to ask the international committee or other chapters to help with fundraising for its projects as appropriate. For example, the UK Chapter may continue with many of its activities in supporting the international work and Rwandan chapter, but it may also start its own projects – it will be very flexible.
Existing structure
International Committee
Advisory board The membership should be reviewed,I think that all branches or potential branches from potential member countries should be supported in the initial set up and be able to set up a programme as soon as the organization is functioning in the new member country. Human beings are categorized in two different forms, some want to be pushed before they perform and some would help themselves to move on. In our generation today the ones in the pushing category are more than the order. So, I would like this to be considered. Or if possible the international headquarters of Never Again should be able to do the registration online to be able to control fraud.

Hi Alexander, thanks, that it a good suggestion. It's the sort of thing we need more capacity for really, but we will stay in touch and work out how to develop it. ClareWhite 18:18, 29 June 2006 (CEST)
